一道Manhattan上面的boldface题

这道题我的思路和书上给的解释有出入，贴在这里最主要想知道自己思路的问题出在什么地方，谢谢。

Products with innovative and appealing designs relative to competing products can often command substantially higher prices in the marketplace. Because design innovations are quickly copied by other manufacturers, many consumer technology companies charge as much as possible for their new designs to extract as much value as possible from them. But large profits generated by the innovative designs give competitors stronger incentives to copy the designs. Therefore, the best strategy to maximize overall profit from an innovative new design is to charge less than the greatest possible price.
(B) The first is a consideration that helps explain the appeal of a certain stragegy; the second presents an alternative strategy endorsed by the argument.

正确答案是C， 我选的B，思路如下：


Because分句之后接的，‘many consumer technology companies charge as much as possible for their new designs to extract as much value as possible from them’，显然是陈述了许多公司采用的一个strategy, 但作者紧接着用 but指出了这个strategy存在的一些flaw，最后给出自己认为最好的strategy。B选项刚好符合。


我承认最后作者的strategy是有base on 在第一个boldface部门，但B选项的描述感觉要更细致，准确些。


请问哪一个地方我想错了呢？

嗯？我在曼哈顿上看到写的是C，而且答案里还有分析。因为我的是纸

制版，这里的解释是表格的，不方便打上来。解释说得很模糊， 直接就认

定第一个黑体部分是premise,支持第二个conclusion，没有再多的文字。

你是在什么地方找的答案呢？
