The first three minutes are crucial
Be aware of your body language and exude confidence, over 75% of what you communicate wil happen non-verbally so:

--Look people in the eye when speaking to them
--Have a firm handshake

4 Follow up
At the close of the interview, thank the interviewer and ask the following questions.
What are the next steps
When can I expect to hear from you?
Take business cards from all you meet.
Send thank you notes to everyone you met.
Leave the door open and be assertive.If you are turned down,call and ask if ther is another area that may be a better fit.
