全球顶尖商学院MBA Essay题目汇总(2009-2010)更新8所

Hi, everybody, we are now providing some essay questions for 2009-2010 here, and hope you can be freeed from the tiring web search.

To find information about MBA Application Deadlines, Admission Criteria, please read here:

Haravrd Business School Fall 2010 MBA Admission Essays

When Should I Apply?

To avoid overwhelming server traffic generated by the high volume of applications we receive, candidates are encouraged to submit their application as early as possible prior to the deadline of each round.

We encourage applicants to apply in the first or second round, as space in the class may be limited by the third round. In addition, applying in the earlier rounds will give candidates more time to address the following:

  • International candidates needing visas will find that applying in round 3 makes the timing of their visa application stressful.
  • International candidates admitted in rounds 1 and 2 find that it's helpful to have the additional time to work on English proficiency.
  • Some candidates may be required to complete preliminary course work prior to their enrollment.
  • Many deadlines for outside (non-Harvard Business School) fellowships are in early spring. Only students who have been accepted are eligible for these fellowships.
  • Financial aid is available regardless of when students are admitted. However, since admitted students may apply for financial aid only after they are admitted round 3 admits have less time to prepare their application.
  • Harvard Business School residence halls and Harvard University-affiliated apartments are assigned by lottery. Deadlines for both of these housing options precede Round 3 notification, and you must be admitted to HBS before you can enter these lotteries

Application Components

The application for the MBA Class of 2012 consists of the following:

  • Responses to the four application essay questions (see below)
  • Current resume
  • Three recommendations (must be submitted online)
  • Self-reported transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate academic institutions attended (full- or part-time)
  • GMAT or GRE scores from a test taken January 1, 2005 or later (and TOEFL IBT or IELTS score, if applicable, from a test taken January 1, 2008 or later)
  • Signed HBS Community Values statement
  • Signed Statement of Application Integrity
  • Nonrefundable U.S. $250 application fee (credit card only)*
  • Interview (by invitation only)

Verification

The School will verify application information and reserves the right to withdraw any offer of admission already made if there is any discrepancy between the self-reported information and information provided through verification.

Columbia Fall 2009 -2010年 MBA Admission Essays

January Program

Columbia’s January Program allows you to complete the full-time MBA in four consecutive terms and be out of the workforce for only 16 months.

The January Program is ideal for you if

  • you are an entrepreneur;
  • you want to join your family business;
  • you plan to return to your current employer;
  • you are sponsored by your company;
  • you want to remain in the same industry;
  • you have built a strong professional network in the industry of your choice.

The program is designed for those students who do not want or need an internship. The principal advantage of the 16-month program is that it allows members of the smaller January class to network quickly and effectively and return to the workplace sooner.

Early Decision

The Early Decision option is ideal for candidates who have completed their research about MBA programs and have decided that Columbia is the school they want to attend. Early Decision applications are reviewed before Regular Decision applications.

Early Decision candidates must sign the following Statement of Commitment:

As an Early Decision candidate to Columbia Business School, I am committed to attending Columbia Business School and will withdraw all applications and decline all offers from other schools upon admission to Columbia Business School.

Early Decision applicants will find the Statement of Commitment in the Honor System section of the online application.

Early Decision candidates who are offered admission have up to two weeks to submit their nonrefundable $6,000 deposit. Applicants who are not yet ready for this level of commitment are encouraged to apply for Regular Decision.
