Graduate Comments

All of our professors have real work experience and advice to bring to the classroom. They don't just teach what the books say, they have lived it and gone through what we will go through upon graduation. They understand the job market and each career is constantly evolving and they are adapting the course materials as such.

This school is not diverse whatsoever, despite the marketing campaign the University has utilized to make prospective students believe otherwise. Every kid that goes here is the exact same...cookie cutter student, upper middle class white.

Bryant dedicates a lot of time to its students. There is more one-on-one interaction between students and teachers which makes it very easy to communicate questions or problems. Bryant also prides itself on having its students be well-rounded, requiring a liberal studis minor if you are a business major and vise versa. Lastly, Bryant also provides a great deal of support through the Amica Career Center to help with interviews, internships, and job placement.

Bryant has an excellent accounting program that consistently attempts to follow what the employers want. Since accounting is a field that is the great equalizer, that is, the prestige of the school does not matter all that much, Bryant is able to compete with the best schools, consistently placing students in the top firms.

I wish Bryant had a program where everyone got an internship like Northeastern has. I am very upset that I have not gotten an internship yet and I am about to go into my second semester senior year.

Bryant has not always had a good reputation in the business world. However, I feel like this has changed tremendously over the past decade, which many employers have not come to realize in hiring Bryant graduates. We easily compete with Bentley College if not surpass their level of academics.

The only negative about the program is that since the college is so expensive, a large portion of the students are rich, arrogant, and don't know much about today's society.

Heavy concentration on getting all accounting students to work for one of the Big four (PWC, Deloitte,etc.). There is very little support for the few that do not want to take this path. All accounting classes are taught with focus on what students need to know for the CPA exam, I don't think classes should be taught just to pass a test, especially when some accounting majors never become CPAs by choice.

Bryant is continually improving their students. In a focused school like Bryant you interact with a majority of the school's population which makes for a diverse learning experience. The school goes out of its way to push students to get involved and attain leadership roles. The small classrooms make the learning environment specialized. Teachers encourage students to ask questions and they are always available for extra help.

Bryant is unique because basically everyone is going there for business, so you don't have the university separated into different schools and get to know everyone. The classwork is really hands on gives you the experience you need in the real world. The career connection is really helpful in searching for jobs and internships. Companies post opportunities there for you to apply for, so you don't need to go searching yourself. Also, the class sizes are very small, so you get the attention you need and deserve from professors.

The emphasis on an international outlook and the requirement of a strong liberal education alongside a sound business preparation.

The class sizes are always reasonable and teachers are always willing to meet with you one-on-one to help you with any problems you may be having with class material.
