该老头非常悲观的说今年形势不好，很多公司都减少了招聘计划，intern的情况也不妙。不过consulting的情况稍微好一点。
我安慰说，3年之后机会会回来的，他说谁知道将来怎么样呢。

UNC on campus 面经
一个戴眼镜的mm面的，叫Julie什么的，很nice，admin office里面的。
她先自我介绍一下，然后问题开始，基本是谈话性质。
1，为什么选择你的本科学校
2，职业跨度较大，换工作原因。
3，你的优势是什么
4，why UNC
5，最满意的成就是什么
6，志愿者活动
7，业余爱好
8，你下午打算干什么（愣了一下，呵呵，照实说了）
9，问她的问题
整个面试说是30分钟，结果20分钟不到就把我送出来了我还没说够呢，郁闷。而且她口头禅好像是wonderful，不管我说啥她都wonderful
感觉UNC里面黑同学很多，随处可见，可能因为是州立大学的原因。前两天去Duke就感觉黑的很少，反而是亚裔很多。

我面的时候碰到一个在华尔街工作了7年半的。我有点好奇地问他，人家读MBA想进华尔街， 你怎么反过来了。他说他有很多idea, 想开自己的firm. 虽然自己fianace背景比较强，但要开自己的公司的话还是要很多其他方面的知识。后来我们一起上corporate finance的课，我什么都听不懂，他已经可以参加课堂上case study的讨论了。

UNC on-campus interview
Just finished the interveiew with Buck Williams, a very nice old man. The interview lasted for half an hour, all conversational, no hard questions.
Here are some that I can remember: How do you describe yourself? How many people are in your company? How is your company doing with the economy slowing down? Tell me your main responsibilities at work. What do you like to do on weekend?
He said good things about Chinese student here. He even showed me a "MBA Year Book", which he circled out every students he interviewed and made to UNC.
I'm going to the Corporate Finance class now. Hope I don't fall asleep this time.
今天还是什么也没听懂, 不过好歹没睡着. 课堂气氛很不错. 上课的是个德国教授, 很喜剧性的一个人.

我的interviewer Buck Williams：太渊博了，哪里是面试，根本就是听爷爷讲故事。还推荐那么多好书。可惜我真的没找到有卖的。希望有机会找您借来看。
UNC adcom的Sherry：你说如果我们需要什么跟你说，我大言不惭立刻回复说：offer。结果你真的给了我一个。真是好人呀～

面完了。。。是个72岁的老爷爷。。。上来先聊家常
适应他的口音费了一点点功夫
问了常规问题，why UNC，why MBA，career plan，how would you describe yourself
非常规问题，跟我讨论中国未来5-10年最大的问题是什么，我业余喜欢读什么书，然后还给我推荐了三本书读。我说中国能买到么？他说去amazon呀
老爷爷很了解中国，说着说着就问我，你是“year of monkey”出生的是么？还说北卡跟中国的贸易量巨大，还说他60年代来过香港
基本是海阔天空的聊，感觉不到紧张
最后就是让我问问题
总共持续了40多分钟的样子
不过我觉得表现不好拉，由于他打到客厅的座机（他说手机老打不通，邪门儿），那里没有暖气，温度比卧室低，说着说着我觉得我牙齿都在打颤。。。
算了，第一个interview，总计准备时间2小时。。。我对不起我的申请费

发面经-刚电话面试的UNC
打电话过来的那哥们语速很快，基本不考虑你是Foreign applicant，所以也没听清他叫什么。
上来后简单寒暄了几句就直入正题，他手里只有我的Resume。

3. Leadership and teamwork experience
4. Use 3 words to discribe yourself
5. Most challenging thing
6. extra-activity
7. My clearest choice.
8. What do you think the most problem of China. 这个问题很突然，我答的是self-confidence
9. Something I want to illustrate but not listed in Resume. 我说的是weakness
10. Question to him. 我问了sub-prime crisis对就业的影响，是否要参加Pre-term等。
整个面试用了不到半个小时，觉得面试官在赶时间的样子，有几个问题回答的很快像背课文一样。可能跟UNC不是invitation only所以要面太多人有关吧。
总的来说面的还行，不过发现电话面试确实很challenging，不能像face-to-face那样用肢体语言、表情什么的，所以对英文表达能力是个考验。
这是我今年申请的第一个面试，当然不希望是最后一个。R2还有很多Essay要写，继续奋斗……

UNC Kenan-Flagler Phone Interview
是圣诞节前面的，这两天比较忙，所以现在贴出来：

3. Your background seems quite good. Why MBA? Why Now?

5. Do you have any community service experience?
6. What will you do if not admitted?
7. What's the problem in the world bothering you most?

9. Do you have any questions?
10. Why you choose your English name? How do you pronounce your Chinese name? What does it mean?
面试大概持续了35分钟，他一开始说是大概25分钟左右，电话的效果很好，没有任何声音延迟。
面试官是81年的MBA，是个退伍的Veteran, 人很Nice，声音很具有鼓舞性。面试以后一段时间后收到一封调查问卷。

感觉同楼主一样，对方很赶时间，怀疑是不是几个人分了完成任务一样。导致我越说越快，她也越说越快。最后说bye bye都觉得像是总算赶上火车结束了！
