1、采取原文的提议可以减少假火警
2、不会影响人们报告火灾
OG解释正确答案为A，因为记录电话来源有效制止假的火警。并且说E是对原文Weaken的，因为E提出了有些人在alarm fire附近发现火灾但没有私人电话的可能性，这样就不能达到2的目的。但我的想法是，既然原来就有很大部分的功用电话不能用，那么就算取消了就不会影响人们报告火警啊（因为即不取消也用不了），这样E不就是加强了么= =

    我看了一下答案，觉得BCDE都是无关选项。
这道题是加强题，同时是措施题
目的：减少prank calls
措施：取消fire alarm boxes
我们要的答案应该是和措施配合可以是目的更好的达到的。所以答案是A，因为可以trace 所有的电话，prank calls也可以查到，所以可以减少prank call
E选项说的是on any given day，day是单数，起不到你说的一直坏了的效果

翻译：如果能起到你说的效果，即电话大部分都已经坏了，就是削弱了，因为已经坏了，就不用费劲去拆电话了....

    题目：建议取消报警盒子，因为人们都有私人电话，所以取消盒子不会影响报火警，同时减少假火警。
目的是减少假火警，推理的基础是人们有私人电话。

解题思路：支持题的满足条件是必要条件，也就是说只要沾边就成。当然逻辑对象和重点必须是是一致的。 重点是火警盒子的必要性。

楼主犯的错误就是GMAT一直强调的——你自己想当然了，把生活常识代入。你觉得公共电话也可以报火警，这个没错，但是文章没提。没提就等于不存在。
