The answer is C. OG中说B中perhaps violent is awkward and less clear thanC中which may be violent,为什么呢?我觉得好像两个的表达的意思都应该是一样的啊!也就是说如果B中加上between的话,为什么还是应该选C呢?
什么是把握一种表达是不是awkward或者是否clear的标准呢?

这个类似的问题原来joy问过了，因为which使得 violent 的逻辑主语更加明确，如果没有的话好象这个violent 的逻辑主语是其他的事情。这是一个常见的问题.

可以看成是省略形式， 但是这种省略不太好而已。
