我主要觉着B里面 last year’s看着不舒服，无生命的东东一般不能用's的所有格形式吧
A是不是可以看成两个状语的比较？

there's...和last year's不对称哎
而且在classical english中，很多's都是不规范的表示方法
好象什么哟生命的才可以用's来表示

I think so. "There was" is wordy.
"would be" is inconsistent with "are convinced" in tense and unnecessary of  using subjunctive.  "Can " is better than "be able to" in here.

如果选a,那么怎么解释chance of recession this year 和last year 的比较问题，好像这里的chance of recession不能省略，这一点好像是新东方一直强调的东西，如果可以省略，依据是什么呢？请教

不知道大家还记不记得OG里的一个讲有关学生与电脑的分配问题的题目。
there is 。。。than there were。。。
选项B中的比较，单从时间的比较似乎有些单薄。这是我读题目时的感觉！
