比较题

今天看到一句整理的话：

Freedman’s survey showed that people living
in small towns and rural areas consider themselves no happier than
do people living in big cities. 

此为选择答案，有一点有疑惑：比较主体到底是什么，这句话如果说完整就是Freedman’s survey showed that people living
in small towns and rural areas consider themselves no happier than people living in big cities consider themselves.

但是我认为这句话不是从句中主语和主语之间的比较，而应该是说people living in small towns and rural areas 认为他们自己并不比people living in big city更加happy，所以应该是宾语和宾语的对比，正确答案应该是Freedman’s survey showed that people living
in small towns and rural areas consider themselves no happier than
people living in big cities. （没有do)

是啊，我上面有写，如果加了do的话就是主语间的对比，不加就是宾语间的对比，从逻辑上看感觉主语间的对比不对~~

LZ 觉得 I eat more than you 和 I eat apple more than you do的区别在哪呢？

我认为前者才是主语比较，后者是宾语比较

呵呵，不是的，这两个的比较主体都是主语，比较的内容是吃了什么


第二个：I eat more apple than u do(调整了一下语序），这句话还是拿我和你比，是就吃的苹果数目作比较


其实你举得例子自己也可以想通的，第一句里的more可以看做一个代词作宾语，可以拿任何东西换，而且，第一句话本身也可以改成I eat more than u do不是么

好吧,就这道题来说其实这里有个倒装,调整后应该是people living in small towns and rural areas consider themselves no happier than  people living in big cities do.   只是把do提前了，因为people有长的修饰语，do 的确是指代consider

恩，我的意思就是这样，但是我认为拿consider对比很不符合逻辑，应该是拿那些rural的人认为的自己和他们认为的城里人对比，也就是consider的宾语之间比较。。。
