[转帖]My Wharton on-campus interview

Had my interview yesterday. The waiting area of the admissions office was crowded with interviewees and current students. I had a brief chat with a 1st year healthcare student. Also met a girl who works at Lehman Brothers in New York (interesting!)

My interviewer was a 2nd year student. He is finance major and will go to an invest bank (also interesting!). He was very friendly and made the interview almost like a relaxed conversation. The questions he asked were pretty standard:

- Walk me through your resume

- Why MBA? Why Wharton?

- Career goals

- Give me an example of when you lead in a difficult situation

- What do you do outside work? (I talked mostly about hobbies. Should've talked more about community activities)

- What is your biggest success?

- Other schools applied? (I told him that Wharton was the only school I wanted to attend)

- Anything to add that's not addressed in your application (this is when I talked about one of the healthcare issues I am passionate about. He seemed to be interested and impressed)

- Any questions for me? (I asked about job placement, learning team and leadership venture program)

The whole interview is about 25 min and the interviewer looked at the clock several times (he probably wanted to start the next one on time). He made notes on my resume and on a yellow evaluation sheet. I feel that I've done a pretty good job. Now I will try to relax and not to think about it until the big day finally come.

Good luck to all who have got the invites and who are still waiting (the wait is almost over)!
