five pieces of wood ,mean and the median of the length of the five pieces of wood equal to 124 and 140 (centimetre) ,respectively, what is the maxium possible length in centimetres ,of the shortest piece of wood ? answer 100

这是prep 上的一道题，有点迷茫！请教思路！谢谢！

我的想法，參考看看

因為med=140 mean=124

A B 140 C D

124*5-140=480

表示A+B+C+D=480

若要讓AB為最大，表示C和D都等於140且A和B要相等

假設C或D有一個超過140，A或B其中一個一定會小於100，那就不是the maxium possible length in centimetres ,of the shortest piece of wood （最短部分的最大值）

哦　似乎有些明白了　你的意思是不是指　　最小值最大的排列可能是　100 100 140 140 140 ，如果有一个值大于140,最小值就要小于100,因此得出结果　呵呵

Ａ＋Ｂ最大为２００＝４８０－２８０，当Ａ＝Ｂ时取最大值。
