1.主句用的是虚拟语气。你题目抄对了吗？我怎么记得B是用did？待会儿找找看：p
2.主要是比较的双方要有可比性
3.只有B没有歧义，A C 的主句的逻辑主语都应该是ceilingfan,D改变了句子的重心，强调了popular from1900 until 1920,而不是renewed interest. from until没有错阿

1\不要随意加并不等于不加，加不加的标准看有没有改变原意。此处改变为is supposed to do是习惯的表达方法，比a更好，所以可以加。
2、这个地方不能用which，which指代最近的词，而且正如princess所言167和figure是不可比的，必须用amount 代替。
