请求高手帮助!题目都看不懂!

题目是这样的

    The rate of a certain chemical reaction is directly proportional to the square of the concentration of chemical A present and inversely proportional to the concentration of chemical B present. if the concentration of chemical B is increased by 100 percent, which of the following is closet to the percent change in the concentration of chemical A required to keep the reaction rate unchanged?

the right answer is "40% increase"

题目怎么读都不知道在说什么。请高手指点!

原题是说:
    x·x+y 能够称反应式
现在y用量变成2倍,要求反应式比例不变。
即: 2X·X+2y
所以x用量为根号2倍X,与原先用量x相比则是: 根号2-1=1.414-1=40%
