it is too naive to think that MBA can guarantee you a decent job, but it does add noticeable weight in your resume if you want to upgrade your position or switch your career. it is true that the job market is gloomy especially for those who come from foreign nations, but do the difficulities and barriers mean that you should stop the pursuit of dreams? look at the examples evenly, I mean to count both successful and failed people, and analyze why, figure out how to work on the tough situation. Never give up. I am not in the above mentioned group regarding the post-MBA goals. I need the mba cause I imperatively need the global perspectives and network and management knowledge, all of which, I believe, can be secured from the bschool.
no intention to debate with anybody here, just want to give more encouragement to those dream pursuers.
UNB is a bottom tier University in Canada.
MBA is definitely not a trash degree. try to talk with the real current students and graduates to see how the MBA changes their career and life.
If you don't believe it, why pursue it?
