key is D. Why not E? Weaken题型直接削弱A,A不可行或A没有意义，本题即production could not continue.

虽然最后我第二遍做的时候答案选了D，但还是得说

这题其实答案D也很扯，这个植物有生产不代表就不会灭绝，如果生产速度赶不上消耗的速度的话。很多动物都是可以繁殖的，甚至搞什么人工培育，为什么灭绝了呢？D也只是一个必要条件，不是充分条件。

再看E-植物正在做难以获取的地方，那么被剥皮的速度就慢，这样就给该植物的生长留下了时间和空间。这个逻辑没有问题啊。

D和E其实都有道理。

楼上的精神很令人感动，但是MM可以考虑这个most seriously weakens ，所以我选D，因为只要human没有extinct，那么ibora就没法extinct，够most吧；相反E的inaccessible就存在不确定因素，今天inaccesible未必明天还是inaccessible,何况还有其他自然条件的变化，都可以导致ibora的extinct。

更进一步的说，因为造药使得ibora灭绝，要削弱这个argument还是应该从造药不能使得ibora灭绝来着手。E说的根本就是以后没法造药，但是还是有ibora存在，是不会出现结论的情况，但问题是这个跟argument无关啊，不是基于这个argument的。OG的解释Finally, if th eibora is lagely inaccessible, this bears on the question of whehter production of the drug could continue, not on what would happen if it idid continue说的大概就是这个意思。

不好意思斑竹，我对这题还是有疑惑



那如果假设这种树有很多很多，虽然大部分生长在inaccessible的地方，但accessible的地方也有足够多的这种树可以为这种药提供树皮，那末药的生产也不会使树灭绝，因为在inaccessible的地方还有很多这种树呢



那E不就能weaken了吗

OG的意思我理解是：如果大部分bark生长在人们无法去的地区，那么不存在我们大量使用后的结果了，因为我们连用都不太可能用到。所以E不是把我们题目最基本的前提都给否定掉了，连推论都可能不存在了。

说要找出削弱推论的，至少推论要能够存在。希望我说清楚了，不知道怎么表达好。

本題的關鍵是extinction, 選項D說其實IBORA可以繁殖，直接否定原推論

E選項充其量只是間接削弱，inaccessible並非是 can't access....

可是还是不太明白，如果A是continued production of the drug，B是ibroa's extinction，那么我直接说由于ibora inaccessable，A根本不成立，不就已经削弱了命题么？

感觉是我想偏了，但是根据“A不可行或A没有意义”,E应该可以作为选项啊。能再讲讲么？tks

注意原文的结论continued production of the drug must inevitably lead to the ibora’s extinction。
很明显是继续生产这个药，而这个药只能从the bark of the ibora中获得，所以持续生产就意味着继续消耗the bark of the ibora，与它在什么地方没有关系。所以E是无关选项。
