C Discharged should be in passive voice—was
discharged—because Sampson did not do
this herself.
C选项中说discharege应该用被动语态与be动词连用，但是句中之前已经出现了一个be动词，即was injured..。为什么不能理解为discharged和injured平行结构共用一个be动词呢？

如果没有was，那么可能是被动也可能是过去时，有歧义。

有可能她被discharged

也有可能她discharged别人

C选项错在那个Being啊,
too ...to 结构.决定了中间那个ill只能是个 adj, 表状态了
还需要Being也表一下状态吗?
所以不对了啊

省略的前提是不引起歧义， 尤其在平行结构，要小心。

不能， 这里是3 个动词的平行： jioned, was injured, was discharged. 主动态是在变化的，不能去掉。
