9个航班可以由9架飞机执行任务，也可以由8架甚至1架飞机来执行任务。
本题题干中说明：一般而言，航班被取消是由于计划执行任务的飞机出现机械故障；接着又说一天之内不可能有多于1、2个航班出现机械故障，有些航班的取消可能是基于其他原因。
