Correlation and causation.

When two events A and B happen together, the possibilities are:
1) A causes B
2) B causes A
3) C causes both A and B
4) C causes A and D causes B.

So in this argument, it says A causes B. D says B causes A.

因为原文里并没有说其他的不吵，只是如果sleeping and waking cycles

differ 会have more violent arguments ，A选项不矛盾啊~
