就是不理解为什么会选择A。。。衡量一个国家商业能力是要同时考虑standard of living 和trade balance;但是文章中又是说了" trade can be balanced by means of a decline in a country’s standard of living"--就是贸易平衡是依靠standard of living下降来实现的。。。这个不是和A选项矛盾吗？。。。
OG上给的解释说的不详细。。。小弟刚做OG逻辑，第一轮复习中，希望各位指点。。。

题干：能力=生活水平&平衡的贸易。两个都是必须的，因为生活水平高可能是因为增加贸易赤字，而贸易的平衡可能通过降低生活水平实现。

正是因为如此，所以如果要能力增加，必须至少有一个不变，另一个增加，或者两个都增加。
而一个增加，另一个减少能力不一定增加。

A是一个保持平衡，另一个增加，则总量肯定增加咯~
这是一个加法题A=B+C，要想让A增加，B、C不能一个增加一个减少，否则不知道A的变化

呵呵 谢谢了 但是说实话给我做这道题目是对的，根据开头的Nither和第二句的both

都是可以的。只是搞不懂后面为什么要给我们信息“balance its trade”和“its

tandard of living rises”是矛盾的；既然两者是矛盾的，A选项自然是不正确的，因为

那样就不存在“balance its trade while its standard of living rises”。各位大侠

知道我问的是什么意思吗。。。呵呵 谢谢了 也谢谢上面那位仁兄。。。但是小弟还是不

其实这个题目第一句就讲了，neither A nor B, by itself..., 其实也就是说要both

A and B,呵呵，这个题目考语法结构啊……
