大家看看这道题，我看了以前的帖子，关于B选项，主流的解释是fast不能修饰rate，可是我查了，有很多fast rate的用法：2.

然而，信息技术仍在以一种很快的速度发展。

不过我猜测fast修饰rate这种用法不够严谨，故在GMAT中算错。大家觉得呢？

    rate of increase 是固定用法－有计算公式的。 所以用fast 形容不好。 所以应选c。what 取代了 it was 后面具体的数字

这个好像和比率没有关系啊. 我觉得也应该选B. C 怎么看都不顺, 一般what 只能引导主语从句和宾语从句, 这里明显不是.

楼主给的例句里RATE 都是速度的意思

而题目里的RATE则是表示比率

因此不能平反

I'd go for B coz the "what" and "it" in C sound redundant. They both indicate "rate"
