Throughout the years at the University of San Diego I feel that I have developed a connection to my classmates. The first day of class this semester was very exciting- I have great classes with outstanding professors, and recognize or know 90% of my classmates. There was definitely a sense of belonging within my business classes that was not present in my elective classes. Each class has a group project that is very applicable to real world situations. I thoroughly enjoy all of my business courses.

No one can argue that class size plays a huge role in making our program unique. Being able to actively be a part of class discussions is invaluable for me because I learn a lot better when I'm participating and asking questions; I know I would not be able to do this in a lecture hall of 200 students. I feel like the types of students that attend USD currently as well as the graduates are very connected in the business world and are eager to help out fellow alumni, which also has helped me in my job/career decisions. In short, the "interconnectedness" of our program is what gives it its strength, through close relationships and personalized assistance.

I think the small class sizes and availability of extra help from professors outside of class time is a major plus. Talking with professors during office hours has been a great way to learn additional material about areas that I am interested in. Also, I have never had a problem enrolling in a class and getting the schedule I needed in order to graduate in 4 years.

I don't like how different professors teach the same classes. You can have the same class as your peers but find it much harder due to your professor. Not good!

More hands on experience in connection to the business world would be greatly beneficial. For example, more speakers or interaction with business professionals would be a great addition to the school's program.

The faculty quality is great. Not only are class sizes incredibly small but USD faculty are dedicated and engaged with the students. Professors want to get to know students on a personal level and will go as far as handing out personal cell phone numbers. USD Faculty bring enormous professional experience in combination with outstanding educational backgrounds.

An education in school comes mainly from the professor's experience. At USD I felt that the professors were available for me anytime I wanted to talk to them. I've had professors who have given their cell phone numbers to students for extra questions if needed.

Due to the fact that the school is so small, individual attention is paid to each student and each student strives to be as successful as they can.
