答案是E。 答案我选对了，但感觉划线部分的最前面应该有that/which, GMAT认为定语从句引导词作宾语时都可以省略，而作主语时都不可以省略吗？

能仔细解释下吗？　是to avoid..和to come..的并列，　recession 在哪里作的主语阿？

应为这里是个and的并列啊。一个recession在并列中做宾语和主语，当然不可以省了。

谢谢回答。但是OG 11 T 45的D选项解释说 "The recession must be followed by

that", 为什么这里好像不能省呢？fear也可以是及物动词阿。。

不可以。只有做及物动词的宾语才可以省略。
