3.3 UC Davis 面经

很少看到有Davis的面经，可能它招收的学生真的很少吧，加上地理位置一般，很少人申请的样子。

不过还是希望这些面经对后来申请的人有点作用。

1. Tell me about yourself.

2. I have seem on your resume that you have work in XX company, can you tell me about that?

3. Why do you think it is the right time for you to pursue the MBA now?

4. You know most of the applicants here have worked for more than five year. What's your advantage with few working experience?

5. Why Davis?

6. What company do you like to working for?

7. Any question to ask me?

此时好像有点接近尾声的样子了，可是过了不到15分钟，可能是我有点紧张，说话太快的缘故，于是我一口气问了三个问题，弄得我像在interview她了。。。她回答完我的问题以后，似乎也觉得时间太早了，又翻她的笔记找了一个问题来问：

8. Please describe a situation when you receive a professional feedback to let you revise your program, and what did you do?

这个问题过于具体，根本没有准备到，临时想到一个例子，还算能蒙混过去了。

9. Is there anything you want to share with me?

面试结束。

又等了五分钟，她把我叫到楼上去做一个5分钟的presentation，终于一切告一段落，剩下的就是等结果了。

下个星期还有一个UC Irvine的Interview, Crossing my fingure now...

11月中旬R2交的，1月中接到interview invitation. 电面。对方是admission director.一共大约30分钟。


1. walk through resume。问了几个细节，clarify了一下不清楚的地方。
比如：why do you leave PwC? (问离职原因）what do you like most about your current job?
2. career goal
3. why MBA
4. Why Davis
5. what else do you want to tell me about yourself?
6. Any questions.

UC Davis interview experience

Did my on-campus interview on Feb 18 with UC Davis

Questions,

1. Tell me about your work experiences.(The interviewer had read my application prior the interview so that soem quesitons are relevent my personal circumstances.)

2. Why Davis

3 . What is your long term goal, 5-10 years from now.

4. Why not choose part time MBA program, since you have more experiences than typical full time students?

5. What are your strentheness and weakness?

6. What is your biggest challenge during your current work?

7. How do you deal with these challenges--- what have you done for this?

After this interview, I gave a 5-minute presentation. The time is restrictively limited.

楼上的遭遇和我一样啊，我也是收到面试通知，然后我说无法到校园CAMPUS INTERVIEW,要求电话面试，结果也说同样的话，无法进行电话面试。4-6周给结果，好奇怪啊，我们去美国面试明显不可能啊，签证怎么办呢？

可是我回了信说需要电话面试，他们回给我:

The Admissions Committee has reviewed your request for a telephone interview and was not able to grant an interview via telephone at this time.  
We appreciate your continued interest in the UC Davis MBA program.   The Admissions Committee will proceed with the review of your application and a decision will be mailed in approximately 4-6 weeks.

....这个不用面就直接给结果，会不会太不靠谱啊？

刚结束的UC-Davis 面筋, Tye面的. 问题如下,

1. Why MBA at this time? Why Davis?
2. Biggest strengenth and weakness?
3. Biggest failure
4. How will U introduce yourself in the first MBA class?
5. Most specutecular accomplishment?
6. Other personal questions related to resume.
7. Any question.

总体感觉UC-Davis的面试问题中规中矩, Tye人很不错,唯一的遗憾是今天有点感冒. 还有的建议想给大家的就是一定要多多准备标准问题,并且把他和自己的简历融合起来.面试前在找一个Partner练练. 最后祝大家都申请成功!
