We encourage you to visit our campus to get a first-hand view of the Yale SOM experience. Beginning on Monday, September 13, we host campus visits Monday through Thursday throughout the academic year most days classes are in session. This is the best time to plan your visit to get the most out of your trip to Yale and New Haven.

We understand that not everyone can visit during the academic year, though, so we do host weekly information sessions and tours on Mondays during the summer for those who prefer to visit before the start of the formal campus visit program in September.  Please see below for our Campus Visit and Academic Year Campus Visit schedules.

Getting Here

For directions to the SOM campus, please see our Visit Us page. There, you can find driving directions, air, and train information, and a list of area hotels.

Parking

Parking information will be provided in your campus visit confirmation email after you have scheduled your campus visit online.

Visiting Yale University and New Haven

While you’re visiting the SOM campus, you may want to explore parts of the greater University and the City of New Haven. Please visit the Yale University Visitors Gateway or INFO New Haven to find out more information about art museums, restaurants, and other attractions at Yale and throughout New Haven; and the Yale University Tours page to learn more about tours of the University. In addition to guided tours of Yale, there is also a self-guided tour of the University, including a new, self-guided MP3 audio tour. Copies of the self-guided tour map and route are available at the Admissions Visitor Center.
