这题应该是考麻烦字specially, especially, capability, ability
1.我查了字典, specially是表有特殊目的的特别,ex:specially trained police dogs后面常接动词, 而especially是表强调不同点或程度的的特别ex:especially in winter, especially fond of

2.ability:someone's level of skill at doing something感觉是指人
capability:the natural ability, skill, or power that makes a machine, person, or organization able to do something, especially something difficult 感觉指非人

但是(a)虽然用especially好像正确,但respiratory system’s ability无生物的所有格用N's加上ability感觉没有capability好,一开始我就把(a)删了@@
