发表一下我的看法：

1）engineering也是申请MBA的一个大的分支，不存在劣势之说

2）适不适合chicago，要看你对chicago有多了解有多少热爱，还要看看有没有缘分了。

最后建议楼主去Chicago的MBA Program主页上看看历年的MBA Class Profile，就知道engineering背景所占比例了。

I have an engineer friend who got admitted by Columbia, but you should be aware this rarely happens.
