KinetiCapital, a venture capital firm with focus on China seed-stage investment, would like to invite qualified candidates to the 24-Month VC Analyst Program.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
1. This is an intensive, pre-MBA VC training program. At the end of the 24-Month training:
(a). Analyst will receive recommendations to top-tier MBA programs;
(b). After team evaluation, qualified Analyst may have the option to join the 12-Month Associate Program. Exceptional Analyst may also expect fast promotion based on performance. 2. The objective of the 24-month training program is to provide Analyst the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the investment performance of the firm, and with the solid deal execution, to develop the Analyst's critical skill sets and career leadership in the Venture Capital & Private Equity industry.
3. Within the 24-month training, Analyst will have full exposure to all aspects of Venture Capital & Private Equity investment with responsibilities including strategic planning, investment sourcing, due diligence, financial & operational analysis, transaction structuring, negotiation and legal documentation, portfolio management, joint-venture equity investment, deal exit execution, further fundraising, and new business development.
4. After the 24-month training, Analyst is strongly encouraged to pursue the academic career with certain top-tier MBA programs, or to achieve the best-fit business interests with the experience necessary to perform at a significant leadership level.
5. The position is based in Xujiahui area of downtown Shanghai City. PRIMARY TRAINING:
1. Screen and evaluate prospective investments;
2. Launch coverage on a company or business sector, and interpret data and analysis on market, economic and regulatory events;
3. Draft legal and business document for further fundraising;
4. Prepare detailed financial analyses of investment opportunities;
5. Participate in the due diligence of venture capital investments;
6. Deal execution and portfolio company management;
7. Plan the expansion of Analyst Program;
8. Create new ventures and directly work with entrepreneurs;
9. Network, negotiate and also cowork with service professionals, government officers, and VCPE investors;
10. Directly report to Partners. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Top undergraduate degree, preferably from Fudan University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Tsinghua University;
2. Superior academic and performance records;
3. Strong analytical skills, information sourcing skills, and creativity;
4. 1-2 years of work experiences as an investment banker, management consultant, private equity professional, venture capitalist, corporate development professional, or professional from global service firms. Experience in the sectors of Technology, Media, Consumer, and Internet, is a plus;
5. Long-term career aspiration in Venture Capital & Private Equity industry;
6. Position requires full time 24-month commitment for intensive on-job VC training. PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
