Recent math problem below. answer:A (some say D?).  Is it safe to say 1) is sufficient? My understanding for DS: the point is whether the condition(s) is sufficient, not necesarily whether valid answers can be reached. I would say C is the answer. Open to discussion.

2）A和B 买的数量一样

个人意见，如果认为只有斑竹的解释才够权威，请掠过。

我认为隐含假设等同显性条件是题目成立与否的关键，一些情况下缺之则立，存之则破。美国人的思维注重实践，对于这种与实际情况直接相关的假设尤为重视，美国的小学生绝对不会犯诸如“算出半个人”此类的书呆子错误的，虽然他们的数学智商真的很低。所以不可或缺。我觉得本为常理，何必逆之？

Thx for the re of pgclt.
For neglect as u mentioned, but not questionable in DS as ur conclusion, I change the answer from D to A. Anyway, the explaination of the sufficient of 1 is undoubted and same with tongxun. However, the point of "not necesarily whether valid answers can be reached" is really a fatal wrong in DS working.

According to condition 1), 0.29*A + 0.15*B=4.4。即29*A+15*B=440。
15*B的个位数为 0 或 5， 因此要想合的个位等于0， 则必须29*A的个位为 0 或 5。
而若29*A的个位为0 或5， 则A必须=5、10、15、20。。。。。
因为只有这样等式才有实数解。
将A=5、10、15分别带入等式，发现A=5时，B非整数，但邮票必须是整数个，因此A不可能等于5。
将A=10带入等式，得B=10。均符合等式与提议要求。
将A=15或大于15的数字带入等式，则发现等式虽能求解，但不符合提议要求：邮票（整数）

I understand the problem well, but do not feel comfortable using the "implied" assumption.

你对充分性的理解有问题。一个命题的充分性倚赖相关定量（Q）而发生变化，否则考核的不是定量而是逻辑。比如理论上，两个不恒等的两元一次方程能得出两个变量的值，但如果是x-y=1,3x-3y=2之类的无解方程组必然不能确定x、y的值，自然无法满足充分性。例子也许不恰当，以本题为例：
0.29a+0.15b=4.4（注意隐含的附加条件：a、b都是整数，这使得单一二元一次方程求解出现可能）
29a+15b=440
15b的个位非零即5，而29a的个位不可能为0，只可能为5。
a＝5，b非整数；a＝10，b＝10；a＝15，b非整数；a＝20超出范围。
所以此等式及附加成分使唯一解充分存在。2的充分性无需多言。
如果按你的思路，所有此类题的数字都再无任何意义。岂不荒谬？
