先签证，再换护照，这样出国可以吗？？

如果美国签证拿到后，再在国内换护照。然后再去美国，这样子可以吗？？谢谢。

新护照的备注栏会注明说该护照是根据XXX号（你的旧护照号码）护照换发。旧护照会剪角后还给你。只要签证没有过期，两本护照一起用就可以了。

拿到新护照后最好认真检查备注栏旧护照号码是否正确。俺的就给弄错了！还要再花时间改回来。。。呜呜。。。

I have asked this question to a local police department in

charge of passport renewal (shenzhen) and the answer is:

show both new and old passport to the immigration officer at a US

port. (The old passport will be returned to you together with the

new passport but partially cut-off on the cover --- showing the

old one is void )

Check with both US embassy and the local police department...

You can but you'll probably have to reapply for a visa or at

least a duplicate of the original visa which could be counter

productive.

That's what I am worried about......so I can not change my passport after the visa?

Doesn't your visa go on your passport?  How do you peel it off

for the new passport?
