本人的理解：
like在这里强行将owning and living in ...和that of earlier generations对称，是错误的。
题意应该是将 a goal of a majority of young adults与that of earlier generations对称。
如果改成like that of earlier generations, the goal of a majority of young adults is still owning and living in a freestanding house on its own land.就对称了
like要求前后必须是相同的事物
as 是连词，不要求前后是完全相同的事物fficeffice" />

126、如果as 表示比较，肯定是要接句子的，而A中接的是pearls,所以肯定是不对的。
like 表示比较的时候不接句子，所以B很好，相反D肯定是错误的，因为like 后面用了do . 此题翻译过来是：基因会跳，就像是珍珠从一个项圈到另一个项圈上传奇般动来动去一样。
