Hi, sorry for late reply. Actually, I was asked the same question millions of times by young applicants or those with less-than-2-year work experience. I understand them: with no official management title or no chance to lead. But leadership is nothing about "title" or "position". Even if you are an intern, you can "lead" senior colleauges or the top management. The key here is INFLUENCE! You can form influence by selling ideas, letting your voice heard, motivating others to achieve higher goals, mentoring others with what you know, and many things you're able to do with initiative. That's leadership potential that all b-schools are looking for from MBA applicants.
Hi, I studied in France at got my Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering in 2008 with GPA > 3.5 and then worked in a Norwegian company as an engineering since 2008. During my study I did several internships in different countries, in France, United States and Singapore. However as an engineer with about 1.5-year experience I don't know my chance of getting into a Top 10 MBA. Any suggestions on how to demonstrate the leadership ability/potential? Thanks.
Thanks for your prompt reply, your comments are very useful to me at this stage. I have sent my details through the evaluation form for your further investigation.
