学了这么久，还是觉得阅读是个大障碍。

可能是量还不够，继续努力！

To perk myself up:

==>There is certain amount of floudering in the early days of your pilgrimage.

       Look at the child who learns to walk. Consider the novice on the job.

      Don't give up!

==>Decide you're going to settle down.  It may take longer than you hoped,

      but grit your teeth, and make the commitment to success.

也许越是到了复习的后期，就越要沉住气。

在复习过程，也真是会经常碰到焦虑， 一定要放宽心，

否则会发挥不出实际能力！

还有两个月就要上考场了，希望能在这剩下的两个多月里

和各位考友一起努力学习，树立积极的心态，并且保重好身体。

这样只要能在八月的考试中发挥出应有的水平，也就心安了！

谢谢你回贴交流。 很同意你的观点 --- 阅读的能力在于踏踏实实地苦练基本功。

不过，我现在也觉得阅读应该也有些科学观律可循。 目前我开始训练读意群， 因为我发现
我有将英文翻成中文的坏毛病。 不改掉这些毛病，阅读速度很难上去。

另外，我发现对抽象词的不熟悉也是挚肘阅读能力的Obstacle.

虽然我目前还在被阅读 intimidate, 但希望终有一点能战胜它。

Reading Tips from Kaplan:

1. Identify the scope and purpose as you go through the paragraph.

2. Watch for significant shifts from one paragraph to the next,
and read mainly for the gist of each paragraph.

3. Get a larger sense of the larger purpose of the details --- How they
relate to the paragraph they are in.

4. Don't worry about the specific content until a question ask about it -- then go
back and reread.
