我认为A选项本身的翻译为：从这种新观念获得的公司利润，公司可能不会继续投资于ecoefficiency的进一步发展。ETS给的解释重点强调的是文章没有讨论会不会投资于ecoefficiency.

我觉得是作者更加强调的是从E获得的收益会投资到那些不E的项目上，对环境又造成影响。而不仅仅是投资到别处。后面对环境的影响应该是作者最担心的问题，所以我选B 没选A。个人理解···
