I used this to prepare for my interviews, so definitely wanted to return the favor to others. I interviewed with an alumna in her office. She introduced herself very briefly and then she asked the following questions (more or less in this order):

Why MBA, Why Stanford? Have you thought of pursuing your career goals without getting an MBA
Defining moment in your life
Time you received constructive criticism and how you reacted, what did you learn
Anything about yourself you wished you could change?
Biggest accomplishment - both work and outside work?
What is your leadership style?
What drives you?
A time you faced a disappointment
Anything you wished I had asked or you think I should know about you?
All in all, I thought the interview was neutral/ok and of course I agonized afterwards about all the ways my answers could have been stronger. I was still luckily admitted in R2!!

Round 3 / Alumna / Off-campus (published May 5th, 2010)

My interview was held during the workday in my interviewer's office. The tone was very conversational, comfortable, and friendly with questions tailored to my experiences.

Why MBA?
Why Stanford?
Why did you join ROTC in undergrad? (seemed to want to understand my motivations and thought processes)
What skills have you learned in your current job? (was military, now private sector)
What frustrations have you had with the corporate world?
Ended with a discussion based on my questions - her experiences, culture at the school, etc.

Stanford上海校友面

昨天早上在星巴克接受了Stanford的校友面试。过程很轻松，聊天的模式，当然核心问题不会漏。非常喜欢stanford的风格，严谨，体贴，周到，注重intellectual curiosity，这些在校友身上和面试过程中都有体现。具体就不列问题啦。祝大家好运！

STANFORD R2 面试情况

上周五面试的. 在校友办公室. 他是投行做TRADING的. 最近压力该不小. 来的时候晚了10分钟.

是个很STIFF的人. 从头到尾没有笑过. 握手坐下后第一句话就是说他会花20-30分钟问我问题. 甚至没OFFER介绍他自己的情况.

问题都很平常. 他有个SHEET, 上面有问题, 整个过程他也在做记录. 问题introduce yourself, why mba why stanford, leadership examples, personal traits examples, value ranking, hobbit

感觉他的时间很赶, 我说话也搞得很急. 不是一个很ENJOY的过程, 但感觉跟他的PERSONALITY有关, 毕竟他从头到尾都很STIFF, 而不是我把他给搞郁闷了.

都结束了, 就是等消息了.

Stanford MBA面经

在上海的麦肯锡面试，KEVIN人非常非常好，和他谈话很愉快，也给了我很多关于career和MBA上的指导和意见，他问了我45分钟问题，15分钟让我问他问题。

我在面试之前没做好准备，但是面试的时候感觉还不错，因为KEVIN真是太会循循善诱了，聪明，谦和，睿智表现出了斯坦福应有的风范，很让我这小女子敬佩，嘻嘻~

Stanford 面经

首先谢谢各位前辈(尤其是斯坦福各位校友)对我面试的帮助。在此分享一下我的面试经历。

在上海的校友面试，约在他的公司见面，我提早10分钟到了。也幸亏提早，因为他公司那层楼在装修，我找了半天，才找到他的公司，然后有等了一会，才找到人把我buzz了进去。校友人超级nice, 就和我从各个论坛上看到的一样，和另一牛校super intense Adcom 面试完全不同。一开始很随意的聊了几句，据说我是他今年面的第一个，然后我说了句，hope this is an auspicious sign, 居然是de ja vue, 原来去年他面试的第一个也和他说了同样的话，然后最后也进了。
接着他把面试流程说了一下，会从不同的category问我一些问题，同时也说校友面试占的比分不是很大。以下是我记得的一些问题：
1.    Tell me about yourself
   这个问题里我就顺带把Why MBA, Why Stanford讲了一下
2.    Give me an example of leadership：
   就用了Essay里的例子
3.    Give me an example where you are in ethical dilemma
   用了发生在我身上的一件小事，很短，不过他很喜欢我这个例子。估计这里加分了
4.    What will you do if you don’t get admitted
5.    what’s someone that you admire
   说了一个似乎比较普通的老人，但他是当年感动中国的人物之一。我之前看到这位可敬的老人的故事，感动得热泪盈眶，所以一下子想了起来，就说他了。
还有一些问题就是根据我的答案追问的。


然后是他回答我的问题。总体感觉很轻松， 就像是和老朋友聊天一样。

Interview: Off-Campus
Interviewer: Local Alumnus

Stanford's interviews are by invitation only, and if selected to interview, applicants will be contacted by the Admissions Committee with the name of their interviewer and his/her contact info. I interviewed with a local alumnus that worked close to my office.

The interview was approximately 45 minutes long, and was extremely informal in nature. During the course of your discussion, you will probably get a chance to ask a lot of questions about Stanford, so make sure that you are prepared to approach this opportunity with well-researched and thoughtful questions. I found the Stanford interview to be a pleasurable and educational experience.

The interview questions themselves were pretty basic - definitely make sure you know your resume well. If possible, you want to use the interview as a venue to provide additional information to the interviewer (and the Admissions Committee) that you didn't highlight in your application. However, it is worth noting that interviewers will not have seen your application materials before the interview.

Questions included:  

Tell me about your undergraduate experience.
Why did you choose [major]?
What sorts of activities did you participate in outside of class?
Is there anything you would have changed about your college experience?
Why do you want to attend Stanford?
Why did you decide to pursue an MBA this year?
Tell me about your most recent leadership experience.
What do you like to do in your time outside of work?
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
