UCLA Anderson UCLA
Introduction
UCLA is among my R2 choices. I received the invitation shortly after I obtain the digital ID. This time, I planned a campus visit. A bad decision was to stay near LAX, from where the traffic is bad to UCLA in the morning. I was almost late but arrived at the admissions office 5 minutes before the appointment.
A second-year male student interviewed and he has some similar but not exact background as mine.
Questions
1. Walk me through your resume. 2. Why MBA, LT/ST goals, Why Wharton, why now? 3. If you can hand-pick you team at UCLA, how will you do it? 4. What is an ideal AMR project due to your career goals? 5. A technical question. 6. What are you hobbies?
Lessons
I was better prepared this time. My answers are not very crisp, perhaps a little wordy. This makes the conversation longer. Overall, the interviewer was friendly and tried to create conversational setting for the interview, but I failed to build more connection with him. He replied to my thank you note.
