我的理解是：

all of 后面的n.要有限定词，如：the, these,those; 是特指的某一范畴内的全部

all 就是泛指所有的

这里应该是前一种情况。

我个人的意见是选C，因为我实在是想不出选A的理由。

分析：这套题有n多的争议！主要是在选A还是选C的分歧。我的答案是选C，有题为证。

此题正确答案是C是对的。

这里之所以认为all of 正确是因为前面有the motion,后面连接了the.特指。

所以可知all of后面是＋the＋复数名词

Here "all of" acts as a adv. while "all of" or "all" acts as adj.above.
The two usages are different respectively.

The interesting part is

　　Eg. He is all of six feet tall．

I never know this before. Can this explain above, I doubt.

I remember couple days ago I saw the explanation for all of. It is said that sometimes they both right, depends on English usage or US usage.
You above question taken from where.
Now I have one idea to explain it, you see
____ballet dancers
so ballet can serve the role as "the", that's why they choose all of not all.
That's just what my guess, hope someone can verify it.
