I believe Northeastern has a vast faculty with diverse experience in different areas such as Marketing and Finance. Many of the faculty have had very interesting job roles in the past and it is this diversity and vast experiences that create a rich learning atmosphere. Toss in Harvard Business School cases into those experiences and the result is a learning environment that combines the best of both worlds.--Marketing

The full-time program at Northeastern is great for career changers such as myself hoping to gain experience through the co-op. I would definitely recommend to friends interested in the same.--NA

The education, location, lifestyle, and career opportunities offered by the school are excellent.--Marketing

TOP

Northeastern offers a great co-op program that helps the students understand the job expectations after graduation. This program allows the students to experience a position with a company using skills they have acquired as an MBA. Professors are also of the highest caliber. -- Consulting

Northeastern is too big. The professors were tremendous and the education was top notch. My only problem was the fact that I was told that I was "on my own" when looking for a job in private equity. The institution was of no help whatsoever. -- Venture Capital/Private Equity

If it was a solid education with small classes, access to good professors, and a friendly collaborative environment, then NEU would be a great choice for them. If they were looking to develop a strong network and good career advancement, then another school might be a better choice. --Marketing

TOP

I would suggest going to a school with more prestige and a better pedigree, which is important in the private equity arena. -- Venture Capital/Private Equity

I feel the school did not do a good job in bringing companies to campus to recruit students. There were very few companies, if any, that recruited at the school. The school boasts the best co-op program avaailable in the country, but that does not seem to attract employers. -- Finance

This program is currently in a major transition phase. I would not recommend it until this phase is completed and the future of the program is clear. -- Operations
