称. 但是这里为什么要把are 放在 those that boys experience 的前面呢，

不是应该是 patterns of stress that girl experience are more... than those that boys experience are 的结构吗？

难道是倒装吗？

        are more likely to... than are those that boys experience

谓语动词是are但是这里are后出现了另一个名词depression, 所以为了防止与宾语比较混，要补出第二个are.这是比较补出的方法。those=the patterns

你说的顺序不符合主语比较时谓语动词的补充方法。具体可以参见OG10-119 224题

谢谢楼上两位，还给我找出来相似的题目。番茄MM的记性真好，我都做过一篇了OG10 了，可是好像全忘光了。

刚刚有check 了一下 og 11 的紫皮，看了解释觉得好像是因为主语比较的时候太长了，所以用来倒装。

好像是系动词或助动词在这种情况下是可以倒装的。

下面是OG 的解释。

106．Inuits of the Bering Sea were in isolation from contact with Europeans longer than Aleuts or Inuits of the North Pacific and northern Alaska.

(A)  in isolation from contact with Europeans longer than

(B)  isolated from contact with Europeans longer than
