这个题目不知道为什么成为了争议题，如果是我呢，我会毫不犹豫地选择A

 

整个句子的结构其实是蛮清楚地，

（The single-family house）这个市主语 （constructed by the Yana, a Native American people who lived in what is now northern California）这个修饰主语的定语，其中a Native American people作为 Yana的同位语, （was conical in shape）这个完整的谓语部分,（ its framework of poles overlaid with slabs of bark, either cedar or pine, and banked with dirt to a height of three to four feet.）这个是一个 n. + 过去分词 的独立主格结构 其中either cedar or pine是插入语。

所以A选项本身是没有明显语法和逻辑上的错误的，它也正确地表达了句子的意思

 

B选项的错误是明显的 that没有明确的指代

 

C选项的错误bank后面加了them 这样bank就变成了谓语 而不是之前的过去分词，那么考察and之前 能与谓词并列的只能是was 所以就变成了house bank them with ...

这和句子的意思是不合的，因为句子的意思是这个屋子的框架被banked with dirt

 

D和E选项除了that (E选项里面的)没有明确指代之外，都有一个共同点 就是使用了was 这使得banked的承受者从framework变成了singal-family house，这个和句子的逻辑意思是不合的，另一个问题是如果这里出现了was，那么就造成its framework结构成为了一个位于句中的独立主格，这在official written English里面是非常少见的，独立主格同场只存在于句首和句末

赫赫 这个题目我也是毫不犹豫地选择C

 

这个题目的语法考点和词法考点其实都非常的突出，就是 句子结构+主谓一致 属于那种不用对句子的逻辑意思进行分析就可以选择出答案的题目

首先句子结构上看，两个完整的句子中间不用连词是不能并列的，所以E是错误的

其次主谓一致上看 a proportion of women 是一个复数名词 后面的谓语动词应该使用复数形式 所以B D错误

最后A选项中 many of which 从句 which逻辑上指代women 所以不应该使用which 应该使用whom

 

另外的一些小知识点包括like在这里的使用使用是由歧义的 as in ... 表达和 in...相呼应

 

这个题目争论的焦点应该在于 a proportion of women究竟应该使用单数还是复数的谓词

我的理解是复数的，因为这里a proportion of women就是再说 女人中的一部分，强调的是有一部分女人 而不是这个整体

我们同样也知道 a portion of women就应该使用单数，因为这里说的是 女人中的一份 强调的是那个一份
