The Wharton Greater China Club (GCC) is a student organization that serves the interests of Wharton MBA students and alumni who are professionally or culturally interested in the Greater China region. Wharton GCC, with over 300 members, is among the largest Greater China MBA associations in the United States. GCC coordinates efforts in professional development, Greater China culture promotion and students-alumni community building. The organization offers career development opportunities,
including industry panel seminars and speaker series, to educate the Wharton community on Greater China economy and prepare members for careers in the Greater China region. In addition, the organization sponsors and hosts a variety of cultural and social events that promote Chinese culture in the Wharton community and enhance camaraderie among the club members. Moreover, GCC fosters connectedness among its current members and its alumni via shared traditions and its online forum.

PROFESSIONAL CLUBS
The Professional Division is the WGA’s largest, with over thirty clubs across the spectrum of industries and careers available to aspiring magnates, captains-of-industry and wheeler-dealers.
These clubs provide the best opportunities to learn about careers that interest you, as well as to provide fellow students the benefit of your own industry experience.
On top of all this, you have the chance to make industry contacts at presentations and receptions and gain from the experiences of Wharton second-year students (read: summer internships).
The MBA Career Management Office works closely with the Professional Clubs to arrange resume reviews, mock interviews, and career panels.
And for better or worse, the various Professional Club e-mail lists are what some employers use to reach students interested in their industries.
In other words, definitely join the clubs for the industries that you’re interested in exploring.

Consulting Club
The aim of the Consulting club is to create and foster deep relationships with consulting firms and organizations with internal strategy positions, equip club members with the necessary tools and opportunities to explore a career in consulting and/or internal strategy. The club strives to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones with companies through partnering with the Career Management Office and other organizations / clubs.
Furthermore, the club provides members with improved know-how wider opportunities to interact with recruiters and a formal support structure to meet the challenges of consulting and internal strategy recruitment. Activities of the club over the last year have included consulting and internal strategy panels, Consulting Mania, resume review sessions, case books, case interviews workshops, mock interviews, Wharton Consulting Club Competition, and social mixers.
