答案e，怎么理解，我觉得是growing crops会给更多人提供食物，后面的都是修饰部分。也就是说喂养livestock也占用资源。
答案解释的意思好像是说把crops 变成meat能养更多人，will前面整个做主语

我觉得书本上的答案解释错了。主语是growing crops for human consumption on the acreage 谓语是will yield 应该理解为。这些现在被拿去喂牲畜的食物，（如果不拿去喂牲畜的话）将会产生更多的食物。

因为题目结论是，粮食短缺不是由人口增长资源却有限造成的。
假设应该支持这个结论，弥补GAP。
也就是说，粮食短缺是因为这些食物被拿去喂牲畜了，而不是资源有限人口增长。
这样才说的通。

我看的时候也看了很久，觉得只有这样理解才说的通，书上的解释我接受不了。
