句尾ing的一道题，我觉得有歧义。

Ving结构在句尾不是只能有三种情况，逻辑主语=句子主语，表伴随动作；逻辑主语=主句全句，表结果状语；还有一个主系表的结构表补充说明。


请问！这里是哪一种用法啊！我觉得第一种说不通啊，因为主句主语是analysts不可能是slowing的主语，第二种情况也说不通，不可能专家责备这件事导致slowing吧。。。
所以我就不明白了。。求解答！谢谢！

这里, being 修饰的是 weather. 是天气 冷了呀,潮湿了呀 什么的.

后面的 slow加ing 表示 和 being 平行. slow sales of barbecue grills and lawn furniture. 也是因为 weather. 而不是 Analysts的原因.

句子结构平行的话, 就要选择 slowing 二次修饰 weather.

ving的agent不一定是句子主语，尤其在前面有两套svo的时候。
到底ving修饰那套svo需要通过commonsense来判断的。
这题ving修饰前面定语从句，which was colder and wetter than usual in some regions

另外，当一个句子有多重解读，但只有一种复合逻辑时候，这种歧义是可以接受的。

还是不明白，如果把中间修饰weather的定语从句去掉，slowing就讲不通诶。。

要明确一点，ving作为状语一定是修饰邻近的句子的，这里which就是其对应的句子which指代weather，补全就是 the weather was colder and wetter than usual in some regions, slowing sales of barbecue grills and lawn furniture，这样解释LZ应该可以理解了。

按照你重新写的句子我觉得是没问题，可是不改写的话句子主语不是weather啊，ing做状语应该不是修饰邻近吧，ed作状语才是修饰邻近，ing做状语应该是我上面提到的三种用法啊。。。难道不是吗？。。。

我类个去啊。。。这样子的一般来讲，简单说svo，ving——ving一是做伴随状语，一是做结果状语，一是对主语进行信息补充;svo，ved——ved绝对是修饰o，除非是主系表结构s=o，修饰谁都行；这道题的结构是svo，which vo，ving——which即使是定语修饰，但从句也是句子，要求的是ving修饰的是邻近的句子（主句从句都可以），而不是ving必须修饰邻近的主句，所以如果我给你写成svo，which vo，ving——ving修饰从句，是米有问题的。。。。LZ亲这样可以理解了不？？
