问题：正确答案A中的第二个it 为什么就能够指代 The Washington Post, 而错误的C选项中的it就不能指代差不多结构的The Washington Post?


关于C中it指代，但是鄙人就是不懂A和C中差不多同样的结构条件下 （都是前面一个of the WP),为什么it就一个可以指代WP，一个不能指代呢？请大家帮忙看看 谢谢！

这题又长又绕，结构复杂，我是一会作对一会做错。好不容易看的差不多了 又被it给迷惑住了

另外就是C和原句意思完全不一样 原句前后两方面是并列关系 C变成了从属 原句的强调语气和平行在C中都没了
感觉it错误不大 不会有人理解成publisher moved into the first rank of American newspapers
C还有个完成时

恩,同意LS的C中it没有问题,因为WP离it是最近的,如果逻辑不出问题,那么是可以有就近原则的~所以同理,A中的it没有任何问题~
C还是that得问题
