此题涉平行并列的省略部分：检验省略是否正确，将句子还原，看其正确与否即可。能省略，必定能还原。

这个是C，and 后面的not 把did带出来了。
此处必须有谓语，以此与前resulted 平行。若不补出，还原后原句可拆分如下两句：
(1)analysts said that the increase resulted mostly from temporary factors
(2)analysts said that the increase not necessarily foreshadowing that there would be a resurgence of inflation
注意第二句，有明显错误，可知原省略不当。应当如C所述：
(1)analysts said that the increase resulted mostly from temporary factors
(2)analysts said that the increase DID not necessarily foreshadowing that there would be a resurgence of inflation

同理：

(1)当并列是固定搭配的不能省略
(2)虽然单词相同但词性不同的不能省略，如I have finished my clean up and have my breakfast.此处第一个have是表完成，第二个是实义动词吃，则不能省略

有的。因为第一个没有情态动词，直接就死resulted，当然要不出did not啦。
而第二个有情态动词will，也就是说，在动词并列词，可以把后面的情态动词省略，补出否定成分。此外还有很多并列结构，有很多小细节。你可以把by和lzm的书拿来看，但是那两本只是基础，不要太束博在树上，还是有了基础后多看看题，慢慢想想，思路会通很多，毕竟实战和og那些书的难度还有很大差距。

终于明白你说的意思了，第一个是两个单独的实义动词并列，后者是否定，所以要补出did
第二个是有情态动词的，这时的并列可以省略情态动词只把后面的实义动词留出来~~
