求帮助：Vanderbilt VS UIUC，都只有很可怜的$$

同很多人一样，陷入了纠结中，不知道选哪个好。

自己分析如下：

UIUC：位置好，靠芝加哥，交通方便，Internship也好找， 但是天气冷，排名靠后。。。
Vanderbilt：对Tennessee完全陌生，据称是个鸟不拉屎的地方。。。但是气候宜人，排名比UIUC好

大家谁对两个学校熟悉的，能给点意见吗？谢谢啦！

说实话，Vanderbilt所在的城市Nashville要比香槟大很多很多。。。交通

应该比香槟方便。UIUC就业主要是在中西部，香槟靠近芝加哥，找实习有些帮

助，另外中西部也有一些制造业企业。Vanderbilt就业主要是在南方了。另外

这两个学校风格不同，UIUC更适合有工程背景的人。

Hey there—these are BOTH great programs, and comparable in the US

from a rankings standpoint.  So at that stage, we look to OTHER

aspects of the decision tree.  For example, while Chicago is cold

(take it from me, I live here) it is a GREAT city with much to offer.

But so does Nashville!  It isn’t remote at all—it is a VERY

vibrant city indeed, with LOTS going on.

So from a location standpoint, unless you want to live in Chicago

when you graduate, the two are evenly matched.

To make this decision, I would look into the actual specific

ACADEMICS that you want to pursue.  Do you want to go into anything

medical-related?  Because Vandy has a GREAT program in that field.  I

would do the research at both programs to see who offers better

resources in YOUR area of interest.  But don’t discount Vandy bc of

its location—Nashville is a VERY cool place!  Hope this helps, and
