申MFE, 实习经历是必须的吗？

最近正在挣扎要不要找实习，因为时间上很紧张....请各位有经验的XDJM指点下迷津吧，

Not a must, but you should have a relevant one if you can find one. It is nice to have a reference letter from your supervisor and it looks good on your resume.  If most of the applicants have had an internship before, you are less competitive if all else equal.

Not necessary for admission to top MFE programs if you are a top

university graduate with stellar grades in math or hard

science/engineering, though it is definitely a plus. Very important in

terms of landing a good job, relevant experience shows commitment to the

industry and more often a sign of professional maturity.
