you have to have a big story to convince just about anybody in this process.

The professor gives me the RA position.I work for him about 10 hours per week.And,I might get chance to work in his company.

able to convince the visa office to believe your story. I think, your story is not a normal case, you may have a very special story that should be special enough to let the office believe it. however, based on the reason you offered here, you do not standing on a chance to get your vise.

But, don't be frastruated, the above is just my 2 cents based on my own understanding.

you don't have to apply for part-time MBA, you can go for full-time MBA while working for the professor. working in school is not considered a job but a assistantship, that is part of your so-called "scholarship" package. if professor is willing to pay for your 10 hours work, it will help you big when you apply for visa. I am assuming you are very honest about your assistantship here. I know most of us chinese are very creative.

My GMAT score is not enough for full-time.The former student said I am qualified for part-time.I have good friendship with the professor.His company will give me a grant.

wow, jxl_1,hope that you do have a great relationship with that professor, because it takes a huge effort from him to get you into USA.

if you are so close to the professor, ask him to help you on visa. you may have to apply for H-1 working visa to his company first then apply for that part-time MBA after you arrive.

Your suggestion is what the professor advised me.He asked his lawyer to apply for H1B for me.But I am not sure the process will be well-off.I am very nervous .
