还是confusing。。。。可否这样理解：and连接的前后两个verb phrase，verb的形式一定是平行一致的？

后面那个they指的是酒商吧，and they do 意思是不是他们确实这么做着（降价卖酒）

前面一个their指代italian vintners，那么后面那个they按照楼上的解释指代了wines。。。。gmat不是说同一个句子里面同种代词不会指代不同事物，不然会产生歧义。。。
我一直的理解是。。。。他们的酒一直都是定价销售的（因为是完成时），但是意大利酒商（这次真的降价销售了）。可是又不通。。。。感觉楼上的意思更加贴切。。。可是。。。又代词不同指代。。。
