Hey dude--happy to offer up some ideas here. It sounds like you wanna do work in FINANCE. And there is some good industry experience required as well...this means that you should be fine to go to preeetty much ANY top program in the US. The first place to look is on the US World & News website, since their rankings are the most respected of anyone's. They will walk you through (for $15 or so) all the specific programs, who gives out the most scholarships, etc. If you can, you will of course want to go to a Magic 7 school--any one would do, given what you are looking to accomplish. You wouldnt specialize in "in house M&A" until after you graduate anyway. But if you cant get into one of the top programs, there are other programs out there that specialize in finance, that are easier to get into, including Stern, Haas, UCLA, Ross, Carnegie Mellon, Tuck, Fordham, and Simon to name just a few...
