1 working on your resume,
2 during your three period of working experience, which one you like most? why? (这个很突然，我本来想说我每一段都很好，最后还是选了第一段经历，因为我的career goal是做entrepreneur， 这一段工作经历是我独立的壮大了一个team，我强调了一下我的entrepreneurship sspirit)
3 could you talk about one challange in this period of work? (晕，我准备的challange story不在这一段，只好随机应变说我遇到泰国人罢工时我是怎么处理的，三段论描述的不是很清楚，强调了国际环境的管理style方法，我在遇到困难之前是怎么和他们处理关系的，以及最终结果 )
4 why mba. why kellogg?(没有问short term goal and long term goal,但是我在提why mba时，说了一下我的career goal是什么，why mba)

? Kellogg on-campus interview @ Feb 16th
Just finished my on-campus interview with Kellogg. Overall, great experience at Kellogg, and many thanks to the folks from the Chinese Business Club!!

I had my interview at 3pm, which allows me to sit in a morning class, and joined the campus tour, and finally had a lunch with current students. Highly recommended to finish all these great activities before walking into the interview room.

I had the interview with an adcom member. Overall, the interview went well, with couple surprise questions and I handled OK. The questions I got today are listed as below:

1. Please walk me through your academic experience (why you chose your major, blah blah)
2. Why did you join DC?
3. What value, in your mind, you have added to DC?
4. Please listed two most significant accomplshments you had in DC.
5. If I asked your colleagus, what they would talk about you?
6. What areas your colleagues might hope that you can do better? (the one I didn't prepare!! And the only place I felt i went off track a little bit, but managed to turn the interview back to track)
7. Please define your leadership style and share with me one significant leadership experience.
8. What's your career goal? (LT and ST)
9. Why product management? Why U?
10. Any student clubs you would like to join in Kellogg?
11. Besides community service, what else will you do outside of work?
12. How many places you have travelled to? Share some experience?
13. Any questions for me?

The whole interview went somewhere around 50 - 55 mins -- 10 mins longer than usual... Hope this helps

上周面的，实在面得感觉不好，想想还是上来分享一下吧，这是我第一个面试，每人必面还给我面的这么烂，感觉面得好加不加分不一定，但面得坏减分是八成的。记性不好，以下仅供参考

今天早上的,从上班地方溜出去到某咖啡馆小坐,时间约在上午十一点,我早到了20分钟,面试官发个短信说要晚到一会儿,结果也差不多时间到了.
问题:
1.introduce yourself (tell me something you did not write on resume)
2.your definition of "a professional woman"
3.your leadership style
4.why MBA, why Kellogg, why now (这个问题答得好悬那...感觉她挖的很深入）
5.what makes you believe you can benefit peers at Kellogg?
6.since you are interested in education, why you don't go for educational management master instead of MBA? (真不知道怎么说服她了，其实前面我有提到的）
7.weakness in your application package
8.how do you lead a team, give example?
example of your real impact?
9.can you give another example of your leadership role? something professional? (因为我前面讲了一个在校兼职的例子，毕竟工作年限只有1年不到。。。还有差不多两年是读研究生时候在外全职工作。。。做行政的。。。）

我的感觉:
面试官很认真,一直在做笔记.
没有预期的chemistry, 很少有表情或肢体语言，我觉得她可能认为我的故事比较无趣，希望是我的错觉。工作经历不出彩可能是硬伤，而且她可能也想不通为何我读了英语的本科和硕士之后还想读MBA，并且毕业后想回中国做教育。。。

今天在toronto的downtown，校友面试。
问题基本上是常规问题，根据简历回顾一下工作经历，然后就是why mba，why kellogg，why now。
然后问了一下对学校课程的了解。我感觉这个问题很有可能是kellogg要求必问的问题，因为前天我看到一个帖子，也是有问了这个问题。所以，我事先看了一下学校的课程，选了自己喜欢的2个课程，今天算是用上了。不过，还是说的比较差。
还问了在team中，作为leader，你怎么样融入到team中，作为普通的member，如何融入。
还有就是个人兴趣了。
总体感觉不好，有时候因为词汇的问题，卡壳。还有就是eye contact也不够好。我说话比较喜欢看着别人的眼睛说话，但老看着也不好，所以，我今天有些故意错开目光，结果导致那人以为他背后有啥好玩的事情发生，还回头看了一下
校友是个帅哥，感觉像意大利后裔的。黑发碧眼，睫毛长又卷

总共30分钟, 感觉没有提前看过我的简历 (汗), 听说因为kellogg几乎是100%面试的, 所以面试结果相对来说没有那些by invitation的面试重要. Anyway, 今年第一个交的学校, 第一个面试. 呵呵, 当作练兵好了, 没抱太大希望. 后来人加油!

Last question just poped up in my mind. What is my opinion about the acquisition deal between company X and Y? 'cause the question is so specific, cannot display the company name for the sake of security.

Kellogg：
也在十月初就收到了面试通知，校友临时有急事去韩国，回来再面试已经是上周四了。这是个ABC女士，很有气质，人非常好，问了我的工作地点，特地把面试选在我公司旁边的一个咖啡馆进行。这个面试更长，一不小心就谈了一个多小时，常规问题也很少，因为面试人特别提到希望我讲讲resume之外的东西，比如家庭背景，成长经历什么的。有两个问题我印象比较深，一个是问申请中我自己认为自己有什么weakness，另一个就是能对Kellogg有什么贡献，为什么要申Kellogg。总之聊得很开心，完全没感觉是在被问，就像是在和一个姐姐聊天。
总的感觉还是要be yourself，因为面试其实真的有运气成分在里面，要看你和面试人有没有chemistry，面试人也在看你的personality和学校是不是合适。如果不真实的讲出心中想法，估计人家会有感觉，自己要是没有期望的结果也会很不甘心。所以我和校友谈时都非常诚实，没有为了被录取而self-promote，也没有隐瞒内心的一些想法。但愿我会有好结果吧，也祝还在等的各位好运！

Back from Kellogg Interview
10月7号收到email通知，9号联系alumni，今天中午面试。
见了面，才知道这个alumni是个法国人，英语跟我一样烂。背景跟我相似，software engineer出身。30读MBA，07年毕业，现在在Standard Chartered，是个真正的job switcher。
问了以下一些问题：
Walk me through your resume elaborating in detail.
What do you want to do after MBA and in the long term?
Why Kellogg?
How will you enhance the diversity of the Kellogg class?
What element of your application do you fear most about?
An accomplishment.
Which schools are you applying to?
What kind of leader do you think is a good leader?
Tell any obstacle that your team faced? How did you overcome?
What's your GMAT score? Why not applying to other top business schools?
Any questions for me?
问题很standard，都准备过，不过第一次面试有点紧张，所以英语说的跟他一样烂，哈哈。
一点八卦。这个alumni约我去一个6星级酒店，lunch time，害得我以为他要请我吃午饭，结果只是找个舒服的地方坐下来聊聊而已。原来expectation太高，现在有点失望。
